Thanks to Dianne Kerr, who has again volunteered to coordinate the school banking for the students in 2019.
School banking will start in the second week on 7 February 2018. School bank books can be dropped off in the letterbox at admin office every Thursday morning. Di will process and return the books to the students. This benefits your kids, encourages savings and helps fundraising for the school at the same time. It is a WIN WIN. |
What's School Banking |
The School Banking program provides a fun, interactive and engaging way for young Australians to learn about money and develop good saving habits.
Run nationally since 1931 through participating primary schools, School Banking encourages children to regularly deposit money into their Youthsaver account and earn silver Dollarmites tokens, which can then be redeemed for an exciting reward through our Rewards Program. It’s also a great fundraising activity, with participating schools receiving 5% of every individual deposit made at school (up to $10), along with other benefits. |
Get your child started |
If your child’s school is already involved in School Banking, all you’ll need to do is open a Youthsaver account for your child or they can use their existing one. The Youthsaver account is a savings account that has no monthly account fees and offers a competitive bonus interest rate when you make at least one deposit and no withdrawals in a calendar month.
You can apply to open a Youthsaver account online for your child in just minutes. |
