Our P&C have a strong and active team consisting of local community members, parents from our primary school and parents from Flagstone Community College.
We meet regularly to discuss ways in which we can contribute to and improve not only our school but community culture.
Joining the P&C Association is a great way to keep informed, to contribute to the quality education of your children and to make new friends. Your contribution can be as large or small as you can manage, but your ongoing support of the P&C Association is invaluable.
Parents of students are encouraged to volunteer at least once throughout the school year. Whether you give your time, donate items for fundraisers or help source sponsorship, there are plenty of ways you can get involved in your child's education.
Flagstone P&C Association runs the School Canteen, Uniform Shop, School discos and all fundraising events for our wonderful School. Previously we have raised money to install huge industrial fans in the hall, another major project was the new junior playground, complete air-conditioning in the school, received mobile staging and sound system for the school and upgraded the school canteen.
Our first meeting back in January we discuss what the school needs in materials and facilities for the students and raise money for.
If we have 10 volunteers donate 1 hour of their time, that is 10 hours of time. If you can volunteer 1 hour of your time, that helps us a great deal. The more volunteers the better we can achieve things!
